My last guest post for this series is from one of my very dearest friends, Sarah. We have been friends since we were four years old, and she has truly blessed my life in the many, many years that we have known each other! I am truly thankful that she is willing to share her testimony on my blog for all of you to read. I hope that she touches your heart like she has mine!
I have been saved since I was five years old. An I have been blessed with a loving Christian family. My life was sound and great, and still is today. But I had two problems, and those are my two learning disabilities that are called dyslexia and ADHD. So learning was hard for me and I didn’t know why everyone else was learning so much better than I was. I even felt stupid and dumb. In elementary with these learning problems it was no picnic. My family and friends of course were a big part in helping me through this. But there was one person who kept me going, making me wanting to keep learning. That was Jesus Christ. Now I love to read and write. Dyslexia still affects me sometimes but not as much. With the Lord’s help I get excited when I read a book and can’t even put it down, more importantly the Bible!
When I was waiting for the bus one morning. My dad was having a devotion with my brother and I. He talked about hell………and if as Christians we don’t share God’s word, those people will never hear it, and if they don’t they will go to hell. That’s when I rededicated that morning.
It wasn’t until middle school and high school that I really got a slap in the face from God and saw that I needed to start talking about Jesus Christ toward the unbelievers. And I’m trying to do my best to worship Christ.
That wraps up the "Testimony" series, and thank you so much for sharing, Sarah! Visit again soon for my next series!
